Governors don't run the School ourselves but we help the Head Teacher and the Staff who do. Governors make sure that the right lessons are taught. We look at the exam results and work with the School to see how they could be even better. We ask why things are being done like this to make sure that everything is done as well as possible. We check that the School's money is being used properly, and that the buildings are properly maintained. We try to make sure that the adults and the children are happy and able to work well. Governors develop and share the vision that the Mulberry Primary School can be the best possible School for our children and a good workplace for all the adults. We need more parents to come and join us. It is not hard to be a Governor: there is plenty of help and when needed there is free training too.
