Our mission is to provide a high quality education, through partnerships between children, staff, home and the wider community in an inspiring and secure environment enabling all children to achieve their potential as independent learners. |
We provide a broad, balanced, differentiated and relevant curriculum for all our pupils. The core subjects in the National Curriculum are English, Maths, Science and Information and Communication Technology. The foundation subjects are Design and Technology, History, Geography, Art and Design, Music, PSHE and Citizenship, Religious Education and Physical Education. These foundation subjects are often taught in topics to enable them to be linked in an interesting and stimulating way.
We teach a daily literacy lesson and have daily mathematics lessons in all classes. The curriculum is “tailor-made” to suit the needs of the children and this means we are able to adapt our teaching and the curriculum to the children’s needs.
